Boomer is an exemplary representation of a Curly Coated Retriever both in conformation and in his witty personality.  He excels in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, dock jumping and field; his favorite of these being field work and agility.  We are concentrating our training on these events and will further compete in them in the future.

Outside of competitions and training Boomer loves to be at the lake- either in the boat, swimming with his family, or retrieving anything that will float (and if it doesn't float- diving).  While at home he is most comfortable stretched out on someone's lap getting his belly rubbed or laying in the middle of our bed curled into a tiny ball.
